One of Falstaff's ten best konobas in Croatia (2026, 84 points). A big, partly covered courtyard around the family's own olive mill; guests get warm flatbread with the house oil. Generous grilled fish platters. The Tudor family has run it since 1998 and cures its own prosciutto on site.
Our tips
- Order the šurlice with beef goulash, the mixed grilled fish platter, tuna steak or fritto misto.
- Buy their olive oil and prosciutto in the oleoteka on the way out.
- Ask for a table near the olive press; the tables are set around it.
- Start with a plate of the house prosciutto.
- If someone at the table doesn't want fish, there is wood-oven pizza as well.
- The Porta Pisana gate is about 70 m away, so finish with an evening walk into the old town.
Good to know
- Not the same as Mali Nono, the family's smaller fish konoba inside the old town.
