Quick answers
Where can I eat with a sea view on Krk?
For a sunset over the water: Jert on stepped terraces above Jert cove, looking west to Cres, Karaka on the water by Krk Town, Mariana above the Stara Baška harbour and Žal at Klimno on Soline bay. Nada in Vrbnik has a cliff terrace over the Vinodol channel; it faces east, so at dusk you watch the mainland coast light up. Olive Garden Ulika looks down on Punat marina at night.
Where can I find fine dining on Krk?
Vila Rova at Rova, west of Malinska (Michelin Guide, Gault&Millau 14/20, 2026), serves two tasting menus of micro-local Krk cooking, and 7 Seas on Veya beach in Njivice (Michelin Guide, Gault&Millau 15/20, 2026) cooks creative dinners with regional produce. Both need a booking for dinner. In Vrbnik, Gospoja has a four-course chef's surprise menu, paired with its own Žlahtina.
Where can I eat šurlice on Krk?
Šurlice, Krk's hand-rolled pasta, come with beef goulash (the island classic) or with scampi. Konoba Zora in Dobrinj is known for them, Galija in Krk Town serves both (EUR 17 and EUR 22, 2026), and Nada in Vrbnik makes a seafood version with mussels, clams, scampi and scallops.
Where can I eat peka on Krk?
Order it a day ahead: Konoba Pud Brest at Milohnići cooks lamb, veal or octopus under the peka. Konoba Sidro on the Punat waterfront also serves peka meat.
Do I need to book restaurants on Krk?
For dinner in summer at the popular places, yes. 7 Seas and Vila Rova need a booking, Galija fills fast even in shoulder season, Bukarica rarely seats walk-ins and Konoba Zora is often full in the evening.
