Tested by us We have been here ourselves.
Small cove between Javna and Sv. Marak with pebbles on the shore and fine 'mel' sand underwater, reachable by car, bike or on foot on the quiet coast road. No café: you bring everything, and in return you often have it almost to yourselves.
Our tips
- Cycle or walk the coast road from Vrbnik and pick one of the small coves on the way.
- The sandy seabed makes entry kinder than most Krk pebble beaches.
- Pack water shoes and your own parasol: the shore is pebble and there is no shade.
- Swim in the quiet cove, then walk back to Sv. Marak for a drink at its beach bars.
Good to know
- No facilities, no shade.
- Open to the sea.
- Not maintained: take your rubbish home.
- For dogs, use Mala Javna, the dog beach less than 1 km south.
