Tested by us We have been here ourselves.
A bay of small pebbles and patches of sand, with beautiful colour and plenty of fish, 10–15 minutes down a rocky path from the Stara Baška road. In July and August it is full by late morning and the few rental sets can be gone by 10:00. Come early, off-season or by boat.
Our tips
- Be on the path by 09:00–09:30 in July and August: the few rental sets can be gone by 10:00.
- Several paths lead down; the one further along is gentler but longer.
- Walk to the second and third coves for more space; there is also a naturist section.
- The bar is cash only. An umbrella and two loungers cost about EUR 30 (2025), but there are only a few sets, so bring your own umbrella.
- Park on the prepared roadside above the bay, all four wheels off the asphalt and never in a bend: cars on the road have been ticketed. Come early: the spaces fill up.
- Come by kayak or boat from Stara Baška to skip both the parking and the climb.
Good to know
- No toilets.
- Steep rocky path: not for strollers, flip-flops or limited mobility.
- Crowded late morning to afternoon in July and August.
