Our tips

• For multi-generation groups: 'Eigida', a two-deck wooden boat built in 1911, takes up to 20 people privately from Krk Town. Four hours cost from EUR 800 (2026), leaving at 10:00 or 14:00; you may bring your own food and wine, and there is a bar and a toilet on board.
• A typical private taxi boat from Punat is 9 m long (135 hp) and takes up to 9 people, with a toilet, fridge and swim ladder.
• Fallow deer on Plavnik come down to the shore; the 6 h version builds in a stop to look for them.

• Don't feed the Plavnik deer.
