As a pure family business with a small carpentry, we explored whole Croatia on land and water and finally fell in love with the best place overall, the island of Krk. After years of vacationing in paradise came the desire for a home by the sea, so after a long search we found an old house right by the sea.
However, we were faced with a major challenge, a complex conversion and new construction in a foreign country. We had to build up a good network of partners for this project.
During the planning phase for the new house, the idea came up to share this beautiful spot with others, and so the company MARIM was born with Villa Marim.
Due to the success and demand for investment opportunities in the circle of the family, we started with the construction of two more villas after the first season. This is how the concept of Marim Luxury Villas was born, with which we appeal to holidaymakers like us and offer a selection of luxurious and unique villas in Croatia on the island of Krk for like-minded people.
5 years ago the search for our own paradise in Croatia began, whereupon after almost two years of searching we got hold of a plot with an old house and iconic rock. The planning of our Villa Marim in Stara Baška began at the end of 2019.
Major difficulties in the construction of Villa Marim delay the opening by a year. But the demand is high, especially in the circle of the family. Thus, at the end of 2021, the projects Manatis and Moana, two luxury villas in the picturesque wine village of Vrbnik in the east of Krk, started.
After a lot of effort and time, we were able to open our Villa Marim in July 2022, even if there were still a few small things to do. Our guests were thrilled and we were very happy. Now we are looking forward to everything that comes, especially to the next season on the golden island of Krk.
Looking back, we are very grateful for the relevant experience that we have gained in this complex environment. We would like to use this know-how to help you to realize your dream by the sea. We would be happy to advise you about investing in Croatia, the course of a construction project, and the situation of own use in relation to tourist rentals.

The idea arose from the desire for our own paradise in Croatia, right by the sea. Since then, all our heart and soul has flowed into the villas, from finding the property to welcoming you. We want to offer our guests only the best of the best, all from one source in the family circle: great locations, exclusive furnishings, luxurious amenities, and above all, a hassle-free holiday from search to check-in to arrival at home.
All the equipment in the kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms, especially bed linen, towels, bathrobes and bath towels are of course included. We will also advise you and together we will find suitable activities for your stay and your arrival and departure. We clean your villa weekly and optionally also daily. You can book additional services such as a private chef, masseur, transfer, rental car, shopping and much more. A culinary journey of the island of Krk awaits you at the welcome. We will do our best to accommodate any additional requests.
Our Villa Marim is located at the southernmost point in the small fishing village of Stara Baška, while our villas Manatis and Moana are located next to each other in the eastern wine village of Vrbnik. We consider these two places to be the most beautiful on the island of Krk, mainly because of their peace and special atmosphere, and the unique look and experiences all around.
The island of Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge, which is free of charge for two years, and is very easy to reach by car. Rijeka Airport is located directly on the island of Krk and offers direct flights mainly from Germany. We are happy to arrange a transfer from the airport to the villa. Buses and trains also go to Rijeka, although for larger groups we recommend a private minibus to the villa.
Before your arrival, we will send you a digital manual for your villa, which you can browse through on the way to paradise. Arrived at your villa we welcome you and help with the luggage. Then we make a tour of the entire facility and explain the most important topics so that you can start your holiday without any problems. Then we let you enjoy your villa with a culinary welcome gift and are available for you online if you have any further questions.
On request you will receive currently bookable additional services. These are, for example, a masseur, a private chef, a waitress, daily cleaning, airport transfer, or shopping. Please feel free to contact us for further requests!
If you book directly through our website or by e-mail, we can offer you the best conditions. We prefer direct contact with our guests, as there are always a few open questions and wishes and we are happy to be there for you.
Our villas can only be rented as an entire complex. Thus, we offer you maximum privacy and the entire property for you and your family and friends alone. An exception is for Villa Marim, where in the low season (spring and autumn) we occasionally assign the separate suite for 2 people to selected guests and we share the villa with you.
