Vrbnik's main public beach below Gospoja park: a natural pebble beach plus concrete sun terraces, with toilets, showers, loungers, pedalos and a restaurant-bar that grills and does cocktails, sometimes with live music. It is the local-family beach, with rocks to jump from at several heights.
Our tips
Park below Gospoja park or at the big Vajavina car park: EUR 2 an hour from June to September (09:00–22:00), payable by SMS (2026).
If it is busy, Kozica is a 10-minute forest walk further south.
Jump from the rocks at the side only after checking the depth, and never when pedalos are passing.
The flat paved areas make getting into the water easy for older guests.
Wheelchair users have an adapted, step-free way into the sea.
Dogs are not allowed; the nearest dog beach is Mala Javna on the coast road north of Vrbnik.
Good to know
Concrete sections, not a wild beach.
Paid parking in season.
Pebbles: water shoes for kids.
Busier than the wild coves.
